for years now I have been drinking Splenda in my coffee. I hope it’s safe. It sure is delicious. I’m officially in at 141.5 pounds and 14% body fat. I don’t see how I could weight so little and still be 14% body fat. I suspect that my TANITA scale is joking with me. Scheming to get me to give up all the donuts altogether. Still… I don’t have abs so there must be something correct in the calibrations. Today is Mother’s Day. So congrats to all the mothers out there! Well deserved, I’d say. Bless you.
The First Day
May 9, 2009I woke up this morning to the sounds of cable TV. I fell asleep on the couch again. But I slept good and I’m up early. HI. I’m a guy. A guy they call “Joe”. They used to call me “Hungry Joe”. Several years ago I had a blog here on WordPress… but back then I was 30 pounds overweight and I couldn’t figure out how I couldn’t lose any weight. LO and BEHOLD, I had an endorcrine disorder. So you know all those excuses people make where they can’t lose any weight?! I actually had one. A real one that did more than make me fat. It threatened to end my existence. Buuuuuuutttt… I’m A-okay now. I had surgery to fix all that. These days I’m pretty slim and strong. BUT here’s the thing, and the premise of this blog. I want to take it to the next level. I want to get actual ab definition, and maybe put on about 15 pounds of muscle. If I can’t… well, that’s okay. Because I really like who I am and how I look now. But I thought… hey why not?! Let’s give it a shot! I’ve made my first goal-point June 27th, which is about 7 weeks from now. I’ll be back with more details tomorrow.
